Our family’s story has always had a little hockey in it. When Andrew and I first started dating, he and his dad were coaching hockey teams, and I was right there at the rink with them. I joked that I felt like a hockey mom long before I became one.
Years later, we got married and had our two boys, Liam and Lucas. As they grew, I loved finding clothes that showed off the things they were into. But every time I shopped, I saw shirts for soccer, baseball, and football kids. Where were the cute ones for hockey kids?
The idea for Tiny Twigs stayed with me for years. I wanted to make playful hockey apparel that kids could wear to the rink, to school, or anywhere else—whether they play hockey or just love being part of a hockey family. Recently, I finally decided to go for it.
